Multi-tenant booking SaaS for beauty businesses
Challenge
Independent beauty pros and small salons had no software built for how they actually work: bookings scattered across messengers and paper, no way for a client to book online by themselves, and existing booking SaaS either didn't fit a solo master or took a cut on top of the service price itself.
Solution
We built Masterly from scratch as a multi-tenant monorepo: a NestJS + Prisma API with tenant isolation enforced at the Postgres row level (RLS), a public booking page per business, a native Expo app for clients to find a master and book, a full owner back-office (services, staff, schedule, reviews), and a separate Expo mobile app for the master's day-to-day. Monetization stays platform-side — subscription, boosted listing and lead fees — so payments between client and master never touch the software.
Result
Masterly is live in production at masterly.beauty, covering the full booking loop end to end across five surfaces: public web booking, a native client app, staff/schedule management and a master's mobile cabinet, backed by a ~135-test API suite.
